A man who is accused of stalking 19 year old popular pop singer Selena Gomez has been officially ordered to stay far away from the girlfriend of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez for three years along. Selena and her family might breathe a sigh of relief. He is Thomas Brodnicki, 46 year old, who was reported stalking Selena Gomez. Thomas Brodnicki was accused of threatening to kill Selena Gomez, Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place famous actress. William D. Stewart, L.A. Superior Court Judge, issued the restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki, Selena Gomez’s stalker. William D. Stewart, on Friday, has given extended temporary restraining order for three years. Thomas Brodnicki has to stay far away from Selena Gomez and her family until the year 2015. The range is about at least 100 yards away.
The restraining order follows the previous temporary restraining order that was granted in November when Brodnicki was locked away in a hospital in Los Angeles on a 5150 psychiatric hold. He was locked because he is deemed to have a mental disorder. Therefore, he might be a danger to themselves or others.
Selena Gomez's stalker has received restraining order for three years
Selena Gomez whom her mother suffered miscarriage on December 2011 first requested the protective order, responds to Brodnicki that allegedly told a therapist that he had an order by God to kill the Disney starlet. Thomas Brodnicki claimed they would be together one day. To the therapist, Selena Gomez’s stalker said that he is very anti-material. Even, he doesn’t like touching anything that isn’t belong to Selena Gomez. He admitted that he and Selena Gomez are the holy chosen ones of God.
In November, there is a report that Thomas Brodnicki has made two previous stalking convictions. At the time, he was not guilty to felony stalking of Gomez because the authority said he had traveled across country to meet. Then on a psychiatric hold in October, he is threatened to kill. The judge dropped the charge because prosecutors hadn’t adequately proved the case.
William D. Stewart, a civil court judge, had delayed issuing the official restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki for twice while waiting for him to give a respond. In December, Thomas Brodnicki finally filed a declaration consented to the restraining order against him.
The restraining order for three years is the only way that will make Thomas Brodnicki stays away from Selena. Therefore, Selena Gomez and her family are now safe.
