A few months ago we talked about Justin Bieber’s mother, and her struggle to save Bethesda Centre, a shelter that takes care of teenage mothers. Pattie Mallette wanted to keep the shelter open because the shelter helped her when she was a teenage mother many years ago. Unfortunately, despite of all her efforts to raise funds for the cause, the shelter has to be closed. The young pop star’s mother is devastated. During an interview, she said:
“I don’t understand why they wouldn’t extend it (the fundraising deadline) if there were all these solutions and opportunities.”
Pattie Mallette is planning to donate the proceeds from her memoir to the shelter. Justin Bieber is also planning to donate the proceeds of “Turn to You” to the shelter. These donations will surely contribute a lot to the fundraising. Continue reading
